Terms and conditions
Version of 22 October 2026
These are the terms for using Just make peace. We’ve kept them as short and clear as we can.
Who we are
Just make peace is a product of Marketing Solutions XL, Olieslagerspoort 4, 2312 VX Leiden, the Netherlands. Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number 62675567, VAT number NL002237924B31. You can reach us at [email protected].
What Just make peace is
Just make peace is a reflection exercise. The app asks set questions, one at a time, and asks for a number before and after. You answer in your own words.
It is not a treatment, not therapy and not a medical device. The app doesn’t diagnose anything and doesn’t give medical advice. It doesn’t replace help from a GP, psychologist or other healthcare professional.
In treatment? Check with your therapist or doctor before using the app alongside it.
In a crisis
Just make peace is not meant for a crisis. Thinking about suicide? In the Netherlands, call 113, or 0800-0113 for free, day and night. In immediate danger, call 112. Elsewhere in the EU, 112 works too. Outside the EU, call your local emergency number.
Using the app
- You don’t need an account. The questions are free.
- You use the app for yourself. The app is meant for people aged 16 and over.
- Your answers are only on your device. Looking after that device is up to you. If you clear your browser data or lose your device, we can’t get your answers back.
- You don’t use the app for anything unlawful, or to disrupt the app or the server.
The log (coming later)
The log will later become a paid subscription. When that happens, we’ll add the terms for it here. They only apply once you take out a subscription yourself.
Your data
How we handle data is set out in the privacy policy. In short: what you type stays on your device.
What belongs to whom
What you write is yours. The app, the questions, the texts and the design are ours. You may use the app, but not copy or sell it.
Liability
We do our best to make the app work well and safely. Still, things can go wrong. We are not liable for the loss of data on your device. We can’t get to it, so we can’t keep or restore it. Nor for what you decide after using the app.
This doesn’t apply where the law says we are liable, for example in the case of intent or gross negligence. In other cases, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before. Your statutory rights as a consumer always remain.
Changes
We may change the app and these terms if there is a good reason. We’ll put the new version on this page, with the date. If you have a subscription and the change is worse for you, you’ll get an email at least 30 days in advance. You can then cancel free of charge, and you’ll get back what you already paid for the time after that.
Questions and complaints
A question or complaint? Email [email protected]. You’ll hear from us within 14 days.
Dutch law applies to these terms. Live in another EU country? You keep the protection your own country’s law gives you. If we can’t sort it out together, you can go to the court where you live.
